Friday Family Night on March 6th, 2009 from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Saturday Evening Gala on March 7th, 2009 from 5:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.Merrie Market is a full weekend of fund-raising and “friend-raising”! The events all takes place at Visitation School and the Friday evening activities are for the entire family, while the Saturday Gala is an elegant affair. Merrie Market is very festive and fun and we hope to see you all there!Friday evening is a complimentary Family Night. This unique Merrie Market event welcomes families and friends of Visitation and includes a casual buffet dinner, silent bidding on class created theme baskets, class party sign ups and a preview of the silent and live auction items for Saturday evening. Kids' fun includes bingo, a Moon Bounce, hair painting, games and more.Saturday evening is a Gala Dinner and Auction. The event is kicked off with hors d'oeuvres, cocktails and a silent auction. A wonderful gourmet dinner is served and the live auction begins. The evening closes with the announcement of all raffle winners and an exquisite dessert and coffee bar.
Merrie Market is our only event fundraiser for Visitation School. All proceeds go directly into the budget to help offset the operating expenses to assist the school with its mission of educating young people for life long learning. This is an opportunity for students, parents, alumnae, staff, faculty, trustees and friends of Visitation to contribute of their time, talent and treasure.
